Anyone can submit a review on a product listed on PhotoGearUser.com, simply by posting it onto the relevant product page.  The whole idea is have real reviews from people who have experience with the equipment listed.

How Do I Review a Listed Product?

Just visit the detail page of the product you wish to review and look for the review form near the bottom of the page.  Just fill in the form and rate the product by assigning a number of stars for each rating.

What Do the Review Ratings Mean?

Currently, there are 4 ratings for each product:

• Features – How much functionality the product offers.
• Performance – How well the product works.
• Value – How much value you get from the product, relative to the price you paid for it?
• Overall Rating – The overall score for the product, taking into account the other ratings.

What Do Reviewers Get in Return for Posting Reviews?

Published reviews are accredited with a link which in turn helps to promote the author’s own website.  It makes it nice and easy for people reading your reviews to click through to your website.

Why Do Reviewers Have to Submit Details Along With Reviews?

This is to help ensure that a real person is filling in the review form.  Your email address will never be published and your details will not be stored with any third party.
