22|Nov|2009 12:46 pm 1The mid-range element of the holy trinity of Nikon FX lenses. This lens is incredibly sharp from wide open at f/2.8 right across the frame.
There’s very little to criticise about this lens. Some might say it’s missing VR and whilst it would add something it wouldn’t be without cost, weight and bulk to an already relatively expensive, heavy and large lens.
Focus is fast and accurate, it’s weatherproof and an overall top-notch performer.
