Images are processed at 14 bit colour depth for finer tonal gradations. Picture quality is assured by effective noise reduction at high sensitivities and a low pass filter that combats false colour and moir. The sensor’s wide dynamic range can be set to preserve more detail from bright areas with the Highlight Tone Priority function.
